Moisture – An Inflight Guide

Cream, lotion, hydrating spray – find your drug of choice and form an addiction.

When in the air – and just in general – cling to your moisturiser the way that Venezuelan women cling to their youth.

I never walk on board without my Clarins Hand and Nail Cream, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hours Lip Treatment, roll-on Chloe eau de parfum (Sephora) and the tiny tubs of Creme De La Mer Face samples I charm off the sales associates when I’m buying my eye serum.

A long journey starts with a face wipe to remove my make up (except for the eyes – I don’t want to look weathered) and freshen the skin. This followed by slathering CDLM all over my face and neck. Repeat as necessitated.

The hand cream goes on often. Don’t just stick to your hands through, any exposed skin is a target for the

dryness that you should avoid.

Finding an eau de parfum in roll on form is vital. Not on only will it slight into your clutch in the evening but it avoids involving other passengers – in or out the restroom – in your choices, and isn’t that really what good manners are all about?

Before landing wipe, prime and apply a loose powder (Chanel Vitalumiere with kabuki brush – Europe only), blush and few more lashings of mascara. If you’re under 35 and not unattractive that should be plenty, dewy and pretty.

I don’t cake my face because.. I’m Just Not That Way.
