Oribe Gold Lust Nourising Hair Oil and Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray are two staples in my hair routine.
Oribe Hair Care is unique because they leverage skin care technology and natural actives to deliver high-performance results. They consider their a hair care a treatment rather than simply a product, which is probably why they have also won various awards for their line.
If a great scent is important to you in your hair products then this brand is just right for you. Oribe Hair Care collaborated with one of the oldest French fragrance housed to perfect their signature scent Cote d’Azur, and it really payed off. Not only do the products smell great, but the scent last throughout the day. After all, you never know who might get close enough to notice.
The Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil is one of the best hair oils I have used in a while. At $49 some of you might be questioning whether or not this worth it, but I assure you it is. Remember that you are putting this on your hair; it should be nice. When I think of all the bad argan oil products on the market, my resolve only strengthens.
This oil feels high quality in my hands, and leaves my hair silky smooth all day.
Typically I apply this through the ends of my hair post shower. I have found that the oil absorbs best if I wait about 10-15 minutes or until my hair is damp to apply the oil. Once you find that magic amount that works for your hair, it will just sink in, and won’t leave behind oily residue. I have also used the oil with dry hair, on those frizzy days, and seen great results.
I have a sudo-wavy-straight type of hair, and on the days that I want to leave it natural, I use the Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray to create body and to bring out my natural waves. It comes in several sizes; and will be anywhere from $39-$60 depending on where you buy it.
This spray is unique because it comes out in an ultra fine mist. It allows me to use the product by layering as much or as little as I want. The Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray creates volume and texture with a very minimal amount of product.
I like to flip my head upside down, and spray my hair all over with the product. Then I use my hands to lightly scrunch my hair, and flip my head back up. After that I am ready to go, and the results last most of the day. Summer in New York City can really do a number on your hair.
