Saint Kitts & Nevis, Caribbean

Happy to be here in beautiful Saint Kitts! Taking sun and relaxing are two activities I’m definitely down with.

It is so important to enjoy the summer to it’s fullest, particularly before New York winters set in.

For those of you that haven’t heard of Saint Kitts and Nevis, don’t worry, this twin island country has flown under the radar of many travellers.

The major source of income has shifted to tourism in the last decade or so, but it is much less touristic than other neighboring islands.

Historically, St. Kitts and Nevis has been a sugar monoculture, but this industry was closed in 2005 as a result of decreased profitability.
If you are looking to buy property in the Caribbean, there is greater potential for return on investment here than in other places.

I enjoy places that tourist don’t often venture. However, if you are looking for a lots of variety in terms of inactivities and amenities, be aware that it is still a fledgling industry here compared to other islands.

You can take full advantage of the nature that the islands have to offer, but if restaurants and nightlife are particularly important to you, it may not be the best fit.

One thing Saint Kitts and Nevis is not short on is beautiful landscapes. The current rain season has been almost non existent, so foliage here isn’t as lush as usual, but it is still stunning.

Be Just Not That Way,

Katherine
