Kiku at Cavo Tagoo, Mykonos

Walking to our table, which is sitting on a platform hovering above the infinity pool, is like a scene from a movie.

A spin off from Chef Shoji Morita’s identically named Athens restaurant, Kiku serves a contemporary fusion of Japanese-Greek cuisine – though definitely erring on the Eastern side.

The food is delicious and prepared to perfection. I feel that it is on par with some of London’s finest.

There is a premium menu featuring Foie Gras sushi and a range of caviar to appeal to your inner Russian princess.

Above all go for the sunset. The Cavo Tagoo pool is a prime location to watch the blood orange sun slip behind the horizon.

Whilst enjoying champagne, of course!
