The Best Beauty Supplements To Take In 2016

If you’re like me, 2016 is the year of taking care of yourself from the inside out, and while the ultimate beauty secret lies in eating a healthy diet, even this can only go so far. Luckily there are a few beauty supplements that can help give you that extra boost to take your skin, hair, nails, and waistline to the next level.

Non-Drowsy Allergy Medicine

Non-drowsy allergy medicine need is my ultimate hidden weapon.

Have you ever had a glass of wine and suddenly found your neck and chest covered in red blotches? Maybe you have eaten something that you have sensitivity to and found yourself with tiny little bumps on your chest and arms?  As someone with a lot of food and skin sensitivities, I find myself in this position practically every other day…. And it’s not cute.

The great news is that the same medicine you take for your spring time runny nose is just as effective in helping to fight allergic reactions you may have to the tannins in wine and the mystery sauce at your favorite Thai restaurant.

I typically take this in the morning, but always keep this in the back pocket of handbags, just in case.

Fountain Beauty Molecules

Fountain is my latest beauty obsession that I have decided I cannot live without. Take one teaspoon or 10ml, of the Fountain Beauty Molecules in the morning with your favorite non-dairy beverage or by themselves, and you’ll see the difference much more quickly than with traditional beauty supplements.

Currently, I’m taking two different Fountain supplements The Glow Molecule and The Beauty Molecule, which I bought from However, there are many Fountain Beauty Molecules to fit every lifestyle, which you can discover here.

Get Your Glow On

The Glow Molecule is an acai flavored concentrated form of Glutathione that fights the damage free radicals and peroxides do to your skin, by fighting aging cellular oxidation… and it works in less than one week.

After taking The Glow Molecule, my skin is so much brighter and healthier looking. I’ve even started putting on less makeup in the morning, because my skin doesn’t need it anymore. This product retails for $50USD.

Too Beautylishous

The Beauty Molecule is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory with a concentration of Resveratrol that balances calorie restriction and promoted normal cell division. Each teaspoon has the same amount of Resveratrol as 26,000 red grapes, and it retails for $28USD.  For those of you looking for something stronger The Beauty Molecule Extra Strength is also available for 68USD.

Note: Each bottle is 240ml, and at one teaspoon a day or 10ml, that comes to 24 days per bottle.

Hair And Nails

Phyto Phytophanère Hair And Nails Dietary Supplement‎ by Phyto Paris is a product I have used religiously for almost a year. As with any hair and nail supplement you can expect to see results after about 3-4 months of use, but there are some benefits you will see before. I noticed thicker and fully eyelashes, and less hair shedding after about two months of taking this product.

It is recommended to take two in the morning for the best results. The capsules themselves are easy to swallow and smell vaguely of chocolate. Our hair grows in 3 month cycles and for that reason this product requires daily dedication for best results.

As someone who has trouble growing my hair out, I highly recommend this product. I’ve tried similar products before, but had the best results with this one. This product retails for $60USD per individual bottle, and $84 USD for the Duo Pack at Sephora.

Note: Each bottle contains 120 capsules, lasting for 60 days.

For People With Zero Chill

If you have been into Sephora lately you might have seen the HUM Nutritional Supplements. This ethically sourced Los Angels based company has a whole range of HUM nutritional supplements to choose from but my remedy of choice is the Big Chill by Hum, which is designed to help eliminate signs of stress and improve performance.

HUM’s Big Chill contains adaptogens from the herb Rhodiola, which has been clinically proven to help reduce signs of stress both physically and mentally. Each bottle retails for 25USD and contains 60 capsules. The recommended dose is one pill per day.

If you’re like me and have zero-chill, maybe with this you’ll find some… Namaste.
